Instructions for submitting abstract

Participants are invited to submit abstract at 2nd EFLM-BD European Conference on Preanalytical Phase which will be held on March 1-2, 2013 in Zagreb, Croatia.

Presenting authors must register for the Conference.

A limited number of abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words and should be structured as follows:

• Background: a brief introduction.
• Materials and Methods: description of the subjects and methodology used in the work.
• Results: results of the study with exact numbers and P values.
• Conclusions: explain what is conclusion of your study.

All abstracts should be accompanied with 3-5 key words.

We especially encourage conference participants to submit poster abstracts presenting preanalytical case studies.

Abstracts must be prepared as Word document. Font: Trebuchet MS, 11pt. Symbols, tables, figures, references and non-standard abbreviations are not allowed. The text must be left justified and single-spaced.

Authors (maximum 6) should be listed: last name followed by the first name initial. Presenting author should be bolded and underlined. If authors are not from the same institution, it is necessary to add superscript numbers to each author name and precede each affiliation with the corresponding superscript number.
Abstracts can be submitted by the Internet only using the on-line web form.

Abstract receipt will be acknowledged by automatic e-mail message
You will be notified about the abstract acceptance by not later than 1 January, 2013.
